I knew this book would be good inside of the first few pages. Want to know how I knew?
I've been involved in the marketing space in one fashion or another for a number of years now. One of the ideas I've seen spread around (and absolutely can't stand) is that virtually anyone can enter any niche or category, regardless of their knowledge of that subject/niche. It's a commonly said/spread idea that if you read two books on a topic, you'll know more than 80% of the people interested in that topic. Thus, BOOM - you're an instant expert.
This is such unadulterated crap. This idea is why there are so many lousy and useless products (of all kinds - reports, books, courses, videos, programs, etc) in so many areas.
Nancy tackled this almost immediately, stating how the "quick and dirty" route will lead to nothing but "dead ends". I like that.
When I learn something new, I like to learn from someone that is obviously smarter than I am...
